AltME Beta Test 1.1

Date: 16-March-2006
Version: 1.1.29
Platform: Linux PPC, Debian
Contains: AltME Client and Server (combined version)
Note: This is a beta test version. It should run
fine on Linux systems that contain the correct
libs (see below); however, it is likely to have
a few bugs here and there.

To start AltME:

1. Run ./altme from the shell.
2. In the install screen, select run from current location.
3. Goto a world, or start your own.

Type ./altme -? for help information, including how to
start altme with a specific world.

Special Notes for Client GUI:

Although file sharing does work, clicking on icons does nothing
because no default application launchers are provided at this
time. You will need to access files using the normal methods
in your operating system (via shell or desktop).

The recommended libraries are listed below. All of these
are found on the distribution disks for Debian 3.1 and can
be installed with the Synapse package manager.
